American Pacific International School (Kindergarten) is superbly located near many of the developing residential areas to the south of Chiangmai's old city. The Kindergarten buildings are well-equipped and designed to meet the needs of our youngest learners. The staff - whether members of the administration team, classroom teachers, or support staff - provide a warm and welcoming environment which has been commended in the recent PYP Authorisation Visit Report and which extends to family members. As a result children joining Kindergarten classes settle quickly and easily. They learn to love school and enjoy sharing their new knowledge and skills with their parents at Parent Conferences - often to the amazement of the adults involved! The international Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) is introduced in K1 with the Nursery class following a preparatory program focussing on socialization, sharing and the acquiring of basic motor skills. Most children remain at the Kindergarten campus until the end of K3 or Grade1 when they move to the Main Boarding Campus, generally as day students, continuing with the same program through to Grade 5.
