The APIS curriculum is designed to produce graduates who are:

        • Students acquire and apply independent inquiry, research and learning skills
        • Students appreciate the beauty of their world,
exhibit natural curiosity and a love of learning
            which can be sustained throughout their lives.

    Knowledgeable:
       • Students acquire and apply knowledge of concepts, ideas and issues that have local and global
         significance across a broad and balanced range exhibit natural curiosity and a love of learning

     Communicators:

      • Students are able to communicate effectively in English

      • Students are able to understand and express ideas and information confidently in more than one
        language
      • Students work cooperatively effectively and collaborate with others willingly
      • Students acquire and routinely demonstrate ICT skills and use new technologies as they become
        available

     • Students show understanding and appreciation of their own cultures and personal histories and are
       open to the perspectives, values and traditions of other individuals and communities.

     • Students approach unfamiliar situations and uncertainties with confidence, courage and forethought
