Holiday Programs were first run at American Pacific International School in 1997, even before there were fulltime students at the school. Since then, programs have been developed to allow students to enjoy the attractions of a beautiful part of northern Thailand and to learn a little about its culture while also developing skills in the use of English, in computing and in a variety of crafts and sports which may be new to them.

At the Kindergarten, Holiday Programs are a means of introducing new children to the routine of the school and helping those who regularly attend the school to discover new things during their holiday.
