At American Pacific International School, we believe that young people study best when they are committed to the place where they study, that they are happy at school and that they have friends. It is important, therefore, that the student is involved in the decision to join the school - whether in the Kindergarten or the High School.
We welcome all those who are considering applying for admission to visit either or both campuses. While we appreciate being informed in advance of a planned visit, we also welcome those who 'happen by'. On the Kindergarten campus, staff are available on Saturday mornings as well as during the week, while on the Main Boarding Campus someone is available during office hours every day.
Our admissions testing is straightforward and is used primarily to ensure that we have the information we need to allow students a smooth and easy move into APIS. Although the admissions testing can be done in our Bangkok Office, we encourage you to visit the campus before making a final decision, so that your child has an opportunity to experience his or her new environment, your expectations are clear and we have an opportunity to discover about any special requirements you may have.
We are happy to accept every student who meets our admission requirements. Students may join the school at any stage of the school year, though many who are moving into an international program from national programs in South-East Asia take advantage of a special intensive English program available from April to June each year.
